The NX2 Sail performance software is free with all NX2 FDX Servers, bring your PC onboard & use all capabilities that the NX2 system can offer!
The Sail Performance software enables you to monitor all data in analogue or digital format, create waypoints and routes, logging all data, remotely control all digital & analog displays, calibrate the transducers with full system setup. You can also activate the NX2 Steer Pilot, set backlight levels on the instruments etc. In short - control the whole NX2 system. Calibration window, Settings window, Options window, Com. port window

The latest NX2 Sail Performance software can also be
downloaded on the web for use with Silva NX2 FDX server based

The same time the Sail Performance is running with a GPS unit connected to the NX2 system all Navigational Information not only may viewed with the Sail performance but they may be send to an additional Charting Program via the Virtual Com port (NMEA) internal out-put.
Note:
Navigation from a PC NMEA SW is only possible for Servers of
version 5.3 or later
The
virtual port will only run on Windows 2000 or Windows XP. The FDX software implements boat Polars via the *.nxp file, after installing the software go to the sail performance folder, C:\Program files\NX2 Sail Performance\Data\polar folder on your PC, open the *.nxp file and using the matrix insert your polar tables, then you may display your TBS at any Multi display with the FDX NX2 sail performance software.
If you have your Polars in Paper we may convert them to the *.nxp Polar file for you, CME Price $ 200.00 (call for details) Windows 7 users an email I received from a Nexus NX2 FDX user that may help you for implementing the FDX SW: The nexus Race Software was not installable on Windows 7 until I set the Compatibility Mode on the compatibility tab to Windows XP SP3. The installer originally complained about the operating system and refused the installation. After the settings on the compatibility tab (Right mouse on the installer->Properties) it works fine.
